Lexi Jones, Hitting/Defense

Lexi Jones attended Liberty High School in Eldersburg, Maryland, where she was a four-year starter. She earned All-County and All-Conference honors in each of her four seasons. In addition to her high school career, she competed for several travel softball organizations throughout the East Coast, playing year-round against high-level competition. Her travel teams competed in premier showcase events nationwide, allowing her to gain valuable exposure throughout the recruiting process.

After graduating from Liberty, Lexi continued her softball career at Murray State University, where she was a four-year starter at first base for the NCAA Division I Racers from 2017–2021. During her time at Murray State, she appeared in more than 180 games and graduated ranked second in program history in career putouts, tied for fifth in career home runs, and as the school record holder for career grand slams. She was also named an Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete.

Following her collegiate career, Lexi has remained involved in the game by providing private softball instruction. She works with athletes on hitting, first base play, defensive fundamentals, and overall game knowledge, focusing on building strong fundamentals and confidence in younger athletes.
