Hannah Auvil, Softball Catching Instructor

Graduated with Cum Laude - B.S. in Sports Management in 2021, and a Master's in Business Administration May of 2023 from Kutztown University. 

Finished her career as a Golden Bear in 2022, where she was the starting catcher all 4 years. Having an overall total of 808 Putouts and a .986 FLD%. Her overall batting AVG was .331 and SLG% of .525.  Hannah was awarded with first and second team all PSAC as a catcher and PSAC Scholar-Athlete. During her final season, she assisted her team in winning the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference championship and advancing to the Atlantic Regionals. 

Hannah attended and graduated from Sparrows Point High School in 2017.  Playing Softball, Basketball, and Soccer all 4 years. Being a 2x Baltimore County Champion, 2x Regional champion and 2x MPSSAA State champion runner-up in softball. In soccer she was a 2x Baltimore County Champion, 2x regional champions and 2x MPSSAA State Champion. Being a versatile athlete helped her to stay active and injury prone throughout the years. 

Hannah was apart of the Churchville Lightning program during her travel softball days. "I would not have been the player I am today if it wasn't for this program and head coach Tim Favazza." During her time playing for the Lightning, she and her team had won multiple State championships and tournament championships, including the USSSA Eastern World Series and USSSA Myrtle Beach World Series. 

"I have a passion to give back to my community and be able to teach young girls the greatest game there is. I want to see players reaching their goals, achieving new highs, and enjoying the ride."
