"First I have to praise Ally Hickman. She has been honest, consistent and upfront in her communication with me. We spoke originally in March, it's now August, and I knew immediately I wanted to support her and her cause there in Owings Mills, Maryland. She wants to bring quality softball to her community and grow it in an honest and authentic way.
The facility was fabulous. Spacious with plenty of open turf with two tall and long cages. It was the perfect space for our Slapping Clinic. Side bar: Terri's Cafe, its' next door, has a chicken sandwich and cookies that will make you never want Chickfila's again!
Finally, I save the best for last. The girls. Each group had different needs and levels of slapping abilities, but they came ready to learn, brought the effort, asked solid questions, gave funny faces but tried every single weird drill I threw at them. That's all I can ask for as a coach.
Thank you to The Baseball Warehouse and Ally for having me. I'd definitely love to come back for more!"

“It was such a blessing to have the opportunity to work with Ally and The Softball Warehouse last fall. It quickly became clear how passionate Ally is about the game of softball. Not only does she have a deep love for the sport and a strong understanding of the game, but she also thrives on selflessly investing in the next generation of players. It’s inspiring to see how facilities like The Softball Warehouse provide athletes with access to not only top-tier coaching, but also exceptional people!”

“I had a great time working with The Softball Warehouse and Coach Ally! The hitting clinic was very well organized and was a positive environment for the players, coaches, and parents. I am excited to come back and help out for another event!”

“The Softball Warehouse camp was such a unique and positive experience from a college coach’s perspective! The facility provided an awesome setting with plenty of space to run a well-organized camp, while still allowing us as coaches to work closely with the athletes. We had the opportunity to showcase our individual coaching styles while the athletes were able to showcase not only their skills, but also their personalities, work ethic, and coachability.
Kay and Ally were absolutely fantastic to work with and did a great job creating an environment that was fun, competitive, and beneficial for both the athletes and coaches. You can tell how much they care about providing players with meaningful opportunities to learn, compete, and connect with college programs. I really enjoyed being a part of the experience and would absolutely recommend The Softball Warehouse to athletes and coaches alike!”

"My player is on a 12c travel fastpitch team. She's on the smaller size and early on (10u, 11u) was able to leverage that into walks as the 2nd in the lineup. However, as the pitchers got better her batting average suffered. She finished the fall season with a .167 (6 SO, 17 BB on 39 AB) batting average and hitting last. We started weekly sessions with Coach Ally before the end of the fall, but really buckled down in the off season. When the spring season started, we were hopefully as she was able to crush a few during practice. Everyone noticed the change, but we were anxious to see how that would translate to games. Our first tournament came around and she hit her first eber triple during pool play, then backed it up during eliminations with her second triple the next day. We won the tournament, and she moved up to cleanup batter for the team. The following weekend tournament came her third triple. We joke about the smallest player on the team (usually on both teams) being cleanup, but she earned the spot. After 3 tournaments (2 wins and a 3rd place) USSSA moved us up to a B team, but she finished her 12c run with a .452 batting average (5 SO, 5 BB on 42 AB). I asked her about the difference and she said last season she would go up to bat hoping she'd make contact, and now she goes up knowing she can crush it and surprise everyone. She approaches the plate in kill mode ready to get RBIs. The confidence change has been astounding, and we owe it to Coach Ally and her focus on my players performance."
